The Committee is composed of professors of medicine, experienced clinicians, and experts representing disciplines essential to the quality and safety of medical procedures.

Its members include specialists in dermatology, plastic surgery, maxillofacial surgery, gynecology, and urology, as well as a healthcare system expert contributing an organizational perspective.

The Committee operates in accordance with the project regulations, maintaining full substantive independence and adhering to principles that exclude potential conflicts of interest. Its decisions form the basis for awarding certificates and distinctions.

Marcin Ambroziak, MD, PhD

Dermatologist with 25 years of clinical experience, co-founder and Medical Director of the Ambroziak Clinic, and co-creator of the Dr Ambroziak Laboratory cosmetics line. He is an international trainer in the use of hyaluronic acid–based products, Co-Chair of the Aesthetic Dermatology Physicians Section of the Polish Dermatological Society, and one of the founders of the International Center for Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Ambroziak specializes in aesthetic dermatology, with particular expertise in fillers, biostimulators, and laser therapy. In his daily practice, he is guided by the principle of providing patients with comprehensive care in both aesthetic and clinical dermatology, as well as other medical disciplines, based on the latest scientific and technological advancements.

Maciej Grzegorz Miłkowski

Healthcare economist, former long-term Deputy Minister of Health responsible for drug and reimbursement policy. Previously, he served as Deputy President of the National Health Fund for Financial Affairs. He was responsible for reimbursement lists, access to modern therapies, and relations with the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tariff System (AOTMiT) and the National Health Fund (NFZ). He is currently associated with the Military Medical Institute – National Research Institute in Warsaw, where he uses his experience in financial management and the organisation of healthcare services.

Prof. Marek Postuła, MD, PhD, DSc

Professor of Cardiology with a strong focus on longevity medicine, Head of the Pharmacogenomics Laboratory at the Preclinical Research Center, Department of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology, Medical University of Warsaw. He is a co-founder and President of the Polish Society of Longevity Medicine and a recognized expert in longevity and aging research. Prof. Postuła gained international experience as a Fulbright Scholar at the Laboratory of Perioperative Genomics, Penn State College of Medicine, USA. He also completed a Master’s degree in Health Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Together with journalist Krzysztof Łoniewski, he hosts the radio program “Kierunek Długowieczność” on Polskie Radio Program 3, as well as the Spotify podcast “W stronę długowieczności” (Towards Longevity). They recently co-authored and published a book under the same title. As a leading advocate of evidence-based longevity medicine, Prof. Postuła combines expertise in cardiology, pharmacogenomics, and preventive medicine to advance scientific understanding of healthy aging and lifespan extension. His work focuses on translating cutting-edge research into practical strategies that support longer, healthier lives.

Prof. Paweł Surowiak, MD, PhD, DSc

Professor at the Wroclaw Medical University, physician, scientist, and co-founder of Dermamed – Centre for Aesthetic Medicine and Laser Therapy in Wrocław. He is widely recognized as one of the leading figures in Polish aesthetic medicine. Prof. Surowiak is a founding member of the Polish Society of Aesthetic Medicine and Anti-Aging of the Polish Medical Association, where he previously served as Vice President and Chairman of the Scientific Committee. He was also among the initiators of the physician certification system in the field of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Medicine (Code 028), aimed at standardizing and enhancing professional competencies in aesthetic medicine. For many years, he was a research fellow at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the Humboldt University of Berlin. He is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications and the recipient of multiple prestigious awards, including distinctions from the Polish Minister of Health and the Rector of Wroclaw Medical University. He has also been awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa by the Mongolian Academy of Sciences. Prof. Surowiak is regarded as one of the architects of modern Polish aesthetic medicine. Throughout his career, he has successfully combined scientific research, academic teaching, and clinical practice while actively contributing to the development and implementation of innovative therapeutic technologies. As a member of the Venus Academy Judging Panel, he brings extensive expertise in clinical medicine, scientific research, medical education, and innovation, supporting the promotion of excellence, safety, and the highest professional standards in aesthetic medicine.

Dermatologist, dermatopathologist and aesthetic medicine specialist, affiliated with the Department and Clinic of Dermatology at the Medical University of Warsaw. The first dermatopathologist in Poland certified by the European UEMS exam. Head of the Immunodermatology Laboratory at the Medical University of Warsaw, expert in rare skin diseases, scleroderma, dermoscopy and procedures at the intersection of dermatology and aesthetic medicine. Dr. Andrzej Ignaciuk is a pioneer of aesthetic medicine in Poland, a physician, lecturer, and internationally recognized expert in the fields of aesthetic medicine and anti-aging medicine. He graduated from the Medical University of Lublin, the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and the prestigious International School of Aesthetic Medicine in Italy. From 2019 to 2021, he served as President of the International Union of Aesthetic Medicine (UIME), the global organization bringing together national aesthetic medicine societies. He currently holds the title of Honorary President of UIME. Dr. Ignaciuk is the author of numerous scientific publications, editor of books dedicated to aesthetic medicine, and a highly regarded speaker at international congresses and training programs worldwide. He is the founder and former President of the Polish Society of Aesthetic Medicine and Anti-Aging, a position he held for more than 20 years. Under his leadership, the Society became one of the largest organizations of aesthetic medicine physicians in the world. He was also the founder and long-standing Director of the first Postgraduate School of Aesthetic Medicine in Poland, which has educated more than one thousand physicians. During his tenure, he organized over twenty international aesthetic medicine congresses, including the largest such events in Poland. Dr. Ignaciuk holds professorships in aesthetic medicine at several international universities and has been awarded the title of Professor Honoris Causa in the field of Aesthetic Medicine by the University of Zug. He has also been honored with the Gloria Medicinae Medal. Currently, he serves as Director of the Department of Aesthetic Medicine and Anti-Aging within the University Consortium Humanitas in Rome. An internationally recognised specialist who combines knowledge and experience with a focus on good patient relations. He has been a full professor at the Medical University of Warsaw since 2016. Prof. Mansur Rahnama-Hezavah, MD, PhD, Dr h.c., MBA, DBA

Dental surgeon and maxillofacial surgeon, professor of medical sciences at the Medical University of Lublin, for many years head of the Department of Dental Surgery at this university. Repeatedly appointed as a national consultant in the field of dental surgery, he also serves as secretary of the Council for Scientific Excellence and president of the Polish Society of Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery.
