The Venus Academy

The Venus Academy is an influential platform bringing together experts, clinics and industry partners who are setting new standards in aesthetic medicine, anti-ageing and longevity.

Through a new dimension of education — masterclasses, analysis of clinical cases, patient experiences and the exchange of knowledge — we support doctors in developing their practices, and patients in gaining an informed understanding of the standards, possibilities and limitations of modern therapies, as well as how to consciously manage their health, appearance and the ageing process — not merely to live longer, but to live longer in good health, fitness and with a good quality of life.

We combine medicine, psychology, nutrition, prevention, technology and clinical experience to create an interdisciplinary space of knowledge, trust and responsible education.

The Academy’s strength lies in its Expert Panel and a programme based on science, research, clinical experience and practice, thanks to which the project tangibly enhances professionalism, trust, transparency and the quality of communication across the entire sector.

A Committee You Can Trust

The Venus Academy is co-created by an independent Committee composed of professors of medicine, distinguished clinicians, scientific experts, and representatives of the cultural sphere.

The Committee constitutes the substantive and ethical foundation of the project. Acting on the basis of clearly defined criteria, clinical experience, and scientific knowledge, it conducts a multi-dimensional evaluation of submissions.

The Philosophy of Venus

The Venus Academy combines classical symbolism of beauty with a modern, medical perspective on aesthetics, the aging process, and longevity.

The project creates a space in which quality, safety, and responsibility become the overriding criteria for evaluating the activities of clinics, experts, and brands.

Standards, Not Declarations

Within the Venus Academy, quality, safety, and substantive integrity are of key importance.

Each distinction is preceded by a multi-stage, independent evaluation conducted by the Committee.

Participation in a Quality Standard

Participation in the project means being part of a community that establishes common standards and sets the long-term direction for the development of aesthetic medicine, anti-ageing and longevity.

Throughout the year, the Venus Academy carries out educational, expert and opinion-forming activities: it creates a space for discussion on quality, safety, responsible patient selection, new technologies, interdisciplinary care and standards of communication in modern medicine.

Quality Awards are presented as part of the quality standards certification process conducted by the Venus Academy. The Venus Gala serves as a ceremonial culmination of this year-long process — encompassing education, expert dialogue, market analysis, the recognition of best practices, and the promotion of organisations that genuinely contribute to raising the industry’s standards.

Marcin Ambroziak, MD, PhD

A dermatologist with 25 years of experience, he is the co-founder and Medical Director of the Ambroziak Clinic and co-creator of Dr. Ambroziak Laboratorium cosmetics. He is an international trainer in the use of hyaluronic acid preparations, co-chair of the aesthetic dermatologists' section of the Polish Dermatological Society, and one of the founders of the International Center for Anti-Aging Medicine. He specializes in aesthetic dermatology, particularly in the use of fillers, stimulants, and laser therapy. In his daily work, he is guided by the goal of providing his patients with comprehensive care in aesthetic and clinical dermatology, as well as other fields of medicine, based on the latest scientific and technological advancements.

Dr. n. MD Michał Sutkowski

Family physician, specialist in internal medicine and family medicine, president-elect of the College of Family Physicians in Poland (June 2024). Vice-Dean for Development of the Faculty of Medicine at Lazarski University. For years, he has been involved in the education of primary care physicians and health promotion. Widely known as an expert and commentator in the media, explaining medical issues in an accessible way.

Prof. Dr. hab. n. med. Piotr Rutkowski

Oncological surgeon, professor at the Maria Skłodowska-Curie National Institute of Oncology in Warsaw, head of the Clinic of Soft Tissue, Bone, and Melanoma Cancers. One of Europe's leading experts in melanoma and soft tissue sarcomas, he is a long-time activist in international oncology societies (including ASCO, CTOS, EORTC). Author and editor of key guidelines and monographs on the treatment of skin cancers.

Prof. Dr. hab. n. med. Wioletta Barańśka-Rybak

A recognized authority in the field of dermatology and venereology, she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Gdańsk. Since 2002, she has worked at the Clinic of Dermatology, Venereology, and Allergology at the Medical University of Gdańsk, where she teaches Polish-speaking students of the Faculty of Medicine and students of the English Division. She participates in the training of dermatology residents and the implementation of research projects for doctoral students.

Ewa Kaniowska, MD, PhD

In 1983, she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Wrocław Medical University. She is the founder of Derma Puls, the Center for Aesthetic Dermatology – currently the Kaniowscy Clinic. She is also the co-founder and president of the Association of Aesthetic Dermatologists, and a member of the European Association of Aesthetic Dermatologists (ESCAD), the Polish Dermatological Society, and the Polish Society of Mesotherapy.

Ewa Kaniowska, MD, PhD, is one of the founders of the Anti-Aging Aesthetic Medicine Foundation and a member of the Foundation's Council. For many years, Dr. Kaniowska has been lecturing and conducting practical classes, including at the International Center for Aesthetic Medicine on Włodarzewska Street in Warsaw.

Marta Bogusz, MD, PhD

A doctor of medicine in public health, she is an expert in the medical and aesthetic services market, an entrepreneur, and the author of industry publications. For years, she has combined scientific knowledge, managerial experience, and a practical perspective on the development of modern healthcare facilities. She has held leadership positions in healthcare, including as Deputy Director of the Greater Poland Oncology Center in Poznań and CEO of medical companies operating radiotherapy centers in Katowice and Tomaszów Mazowiecki. She has also collaborated as an auditor with international institutions such as the International Atomic Energy Agency and the Organization of European Cancer Institutes. She is the founder and owner of the Młodość brand, specializing in modern, safe, and diagnostically supported aesthetic procedures.

Krystyna Walendowicz, M.A.

Director of the Dr. S. Jasiński Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital in Zakopane, which she has headed since 2007. A graduate of the Faculty of Nursing at the Medical University of Krakow, she specializes in social medicine and is a healthcare manager. She has completed numerous postgraduate studies in hospital management, public health, and healthcare planning, as well as the prestigious MBA program for Medical Staff at Kozminski University. Since 2015, she has also been involved in doctoral studies in management.

Dr. Wojciech Homola, MD

Gynecologist and obstetrician, founder of the Femimea Gynecology and Obstetrics Center. For many years, he was associated with the Medical University of Wrocław, where he combined clinical work with research and teaching. He specializes in cervical cancer prevention, menopause diagnosis, and infertility treatment. In his work, he emphasizes modern diagnostic methods and clear, collaborative communication with patients.

prof. Ph.D. n. med. Artur Mamcarz

A specialist in internal medicine and cardiology, he is a professor at the Medical University of Warsaw and head of the 3rd Clinic of Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Warsaw. For many years, he has been involved in the modern diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, as well as educating physicians and patients on the prevention of heart disease. He is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications and a valued lecturer at medical conferences.

Prof. Dr. hab. n. med. Tomasz Paszkowski

Obstetrician-gynecologist, professor at the Medical University of Lublin, and head of the 3rd Department and Clinic of Gynecology at the Medical University of Lublin. His research interests include modern surgical gynecology, treatment of hormonal disorders, and women's reproductive health. He is the author of over several hundred publications and collaborates with numerous clinical centers in Poland and abroad. He is a valued lecturer and expert in the field of women's health.
